Vacuum Pumps

All Aerzen blowers and compressors can be used for vacuum duty. Standard blowers are thermally limited to a compression ratio of 2.0 before it begins to impact their reliability and durability. In an exhauster application, the inlet vacuum is therefore 15”Hg (-500 mbar) when discharging against atmospheric pressure at sea level.

If you are looking for a dry, positive displacement vacuum pump with high performance and low power need: consider the Aerzen single-stage dry screw compressor for continuous vacuum levels to 25.5”Hg (-850 mbar) and use, at that level, up to 50% less power per cfm than a rotary-lobe blower! Great references for cement barge vacuum unloading and central vacuum systems in the paper processing industry to name a few.

Aerzen offers blowers with pre-inlet cooling for 24”Hg continuous vacuum (-800 mbar). The GM..Sm series combines high performance at low vacuum and reliability at high vacuum. Great references in cement unloading, vacuum trucks, roughing pump on multi-stage dry vacuum systems, to name just a few.

Complete packages are offered. Noise treatment accessories include air stream silencing upstream and downstream, as well as the exhaust point (optional).
