Aerzen USA "Green" Building
Starting in early 2005, Aerzen USA began developing plans to build a new office and manufacturing space. The eco-friendly "Green" building started to take shape.

Today the building is completed and will be officially dedicated April 25, 2008.

The building features:

• Day-lighting
• Pervious paving, infiltration beds and rain gardens
• Beams made from recycled wood
• Concrete with 40% recycled content
• Plastered straw-bale walls
• Re-used office furniture
• "Wild Meadow" landscaping vs. manicured lawns
• "Earth Tubes" that condition some of the air underground

Aerzen USA is working to achieve a Gold LEED^® standard for the building. This will be one of the first Green manufacturing building in the state of Pennsylvania.
