Robust “oldtimers” made by Aerzener

At the waterworks of the municipal energy supplier of Neumünster two special Aerzen Positive Displacement blowers are working: One GL 13.6, year of construction 1963 and one GL 13.7 built in 1952. Both “Oldtimers” are working four days a week as scavenging blower for back-flushing of the installed gravel bed filters. Up to now they are working without any problems. Just the usual maintenances are carried out, major repairs were not yet necessary, even after 46 or 57 years, note well in a corrosive atmosphere. “We are very satisfied with the blowers made by Aerzener and hope they will still be working for a long time”, says Alexander Diertens, master of the municipal energy supplier. “If however in future there is requirement for new machines, we would decide again at any time for a product made by Aerzener.”
