 Aerzen oil-free, single-stage, air-cooled screw compressors VM / VML Series
Single-stage Aerzen Screw Compressor units are excellently suitable for dry and clean compression of air and neutral gases.
Installation
The packages are delivered completely assembled, allowing their prompt and trouble-free installation. Installation procedures at site are limited to the connection of the power supply and plant piping resp. filling-up of oil. The standard package designed for pressure mode operation sucks in ambient atmospheric air through a filter. In vacuum mode and nitrogen operation, the intake filter is substituted by a suction silencer of pipe connection. An additional expansion joint with tie-rods ensures stress-free intake connection to plant piping. The standard package is designed to accept motors having IP 55 type of protection.
In the case of packages equipped with an acoustic hood, the electrical wiring as well as the motor contactor and pushbuttons can be installed in the standard instrument panel (only applies for machines with gearbox).

 Aerzen two-stage dry screw
compressors DELTA TWIN and VMT series
The DELTA TWIN series is designed for the oil-free compression of air and neutral gases and is applied especially in industrial compressed-air production. The double-stage units cover motor ratings from 75 to 200 kW and differential pressures up to 10 bar.
This series is available in water-cooled as well as air-cooled design.

 Aerzen VMX oil-flooded screw compressor air ends
Aerzen VMX-screw compressors with oil injection are designed for intake flow volumes from 70 up to 3180 m³/h at driving speeds of 50 resp. 60 Hz and an overpressure – single-stage – up to 13 bar (higher pressures or admission pressure operation upon request).
The drive is effected via V-belt resp. toothed belt or directly via a flexible coupling from the driving motor to the male rotor of the air end. Drive by electric motors or internal combustion engines. All stages are suitable for frequency converter-operation (standard).
VMX screw compressors are supplied as components to manufacturers of mobile and of stationary air compressor plants who produce themselves the accessories or plant components- as oil coolers, oil separators, base frames, etc. – and carry out the final completion of the whole plant unit.

 Aerzen oil-free process-gas compressors
VR series
Aerzen Screw Compressors VR for process gas technology in modular system single- and multi-stage for dry compression of process gases. The Screw Compressor stage is available in 13 sizes with swept volume flows from 600 m³/h to 120.000 m³/h. Differential pressures between 7 and 12 bar are standard at single-stage compression. With multi-stage design discharge pressures of 25 bar and 40 bar max., but also vacuums lower Pe –0,9 bar are achieved.
The maximum (1350 mm) and the minimum rotor length (155 mm) give an impression of the entire breadth of the offer. For the adjustment to the different process gases, rotors made of steel or special steel and casing of nodular cast iron, steel- or special steel casting can be applied.

 Aerzen oil-flooded process-gas
compressors VMY series
Aerzen VMY-screw compressors with oil injection and integrated volume control have been designed for intake volume flows from 500 m³/h up to 8900 m³/h and for an overpressure – single stage - up to 20 bar (higher pressures on request). In vacuum operation, intake pressures up to 1 mbar abs. can be reached in a single stage.
The VMY-screw compressor units are designed to suit the requirements of a wide range of applications for the process gas industry. Depending on requirements and expenditure oil carryover down to < 1 ppm can be achieved, the standard package is designed for oil carryover down to < 5 ppm.

Aerzen has been manufacturing screw compressors since the year 1943.
Initially, the only screw compressors produced were oil-free machines
with gears to time and prevent contact between rotors. The rotors are
not lubricated and the gas stream is completely separated from the
bearings and gear chambers, therefore preventing any contamination
of the gas by the lubricant.
Today, these are our VM and VML series for air and neutral gases, and the
VR series for process gas applications. In the year 1968, after many
years of intensive development work, screw compressors with oil injection
were
added to the product line: our VMX and VMY series for air compression,
respectively, process gases and refrigerants. Oil-flooded screw compressors
do not have
timing gears and, thanks to the cooling effect of the oil, can achieve
higher pressures than oil-free machines. Aerzen supplies screw compressors
for nearly every possible requirement:
gas type, flow, pressures, vacuum.
Aerzen is now in a position to supply a screw compressor capable of meeting
every possible requirement in regard to the compression of air and gases.
