Key Design Considerations:

Single responsibility

  • Integrated and modular design: the entire blower package is designed, built, supplied and supported by the blower manufacturer: Aerzen.

Safety and reliability

  • Safety and Reliability by design: from the casing to the rotors and shafts, from helical gears and bearing selection to internal seals. Precision machining and assembling, and a full-load performance test of each machine prior to shipment ensure quality. The blower is then combined with accessories specifically designed by Aerzen to match the quality built into the machine: low vibrations, low pulsation levels, no contamination of the air or gas stream, low pressure losses, great accessibility and ease of maintenance. Instrumentation is offered to protect the machine against overloads and the vibration level can be monitored as an option.

Quiet operation

  • Completely integrated acoustic treatment solution beginning with the heart of the package: Aerzen positive displacement blower that all but eliminates already on formation the air stream pulsations inherent to PD blowers in its patented wave-interference channels.
  • Acoustic hood with quick-release panels that give easy access to all components of the package to fulfill the already minimized maintenance tasks. And, as our customers expect from an environmentally conscious supplier, the entire package with hood is mounted on a permanent steel skid that also forms an oil-drip pan and reduces installation time to a minimum.

Little, easy maintenance

  • On the AERZEN belt-driven blower packages, the belt tension is automatically maintained, therefore avoiding belt slippage or over-tensioning. There are no springs and no tension rails that would require attention and periodic adjustments. This not only reduces maintenance to a minimum: it contributes to reliability, efficiency and durability.
  • Filters with high dust retention capability extend the cleaning or replacement intervals
  • Oil changes typically yearly
  • Typically mean time between overhauls (MTBO) at full load: 5 years
  • Changes of belts : typically every 2 years
