Patented 3-lobe positive displacement blowers type GM. Blowers with 3-lobe pistons and two patented pre-inlet channels for pulsation reduction. The conveying chamber is sealed by 4 piston ring labyrinth seals. The driving shaft can be sealed gastightly. Vertical direction of flow. Drive via narrow V-belts or directly onto the driving shaft.

Aerzen Process Gas Blowers, type GQ/GR..yz
Housing compression-proof for PN 2,5/PN 6. Cylinder with noise reducing chamber on the discharge side, housing with connections for injection- and water flushing, as well as for lubrication - and purge oil supply systems. Conveying chamber by single-acting oil-purged mechanical seals in combination with labyrinth seals sealed on the shaft. Direction of flow horizontal/vertical (depending on size). Drive directly via coupling or flexible spur gear (depending on size).

Aerzen Process Gas Blowers, type GR/GRa/GRb
The conveying chamber is completely separated from the oil sumps by a space open to atmosphere. Shaft seal by a system of pressure relieved soft packings with carbon ring-labyrinth seals, and water- and oil-purged by double-acting mechanical seals. Vertical direction of flow from top to bottom. Drive directly via flexible coupling or flexible spur gear, alternatively via narrow V-belt (up to 250 kW). Designs in special materials possible.

Truck Blowers GM Series
Aerzen Bulk Vehicle Blowers are manufactured in two- and three-lobe design. Concerning three-lobe design sound reduction by pulsation reduction in the cast-in pre-inlet channels. Installation position only vertical. Concerning two-lobe designs it is possible to assemble the blower optionally vertically, suspended from the top or suspended laterally. Drive via direct coupling or via narrow V-belt.

Pressure Boosters, GM-cz Series
Aerzen Pressure boosters are capable of differential pressures up to
30 psi (2 bar) and are equipped with a 360 psi pressure rated casing
(PN 25); inlet flows to 3,500 cfm (6,000 m3/h).

Vacuum Pumps with Pre-inlet Cooling
For pre-inlet cooling the housing is equipped with an additional third socket on the suction side. The lube oil supply is effected by splash oil lubrication. The conveying chamber is sealed vacuum-tightly by a sealing system. The driving shaft is sealed by double radial seal rings with grease barrier. Direction of flow vertical from top to bottom. Drive can be effected via a direct coupling or optionally via narrow V-belt (at limited differential pressure).
Design in special materials (GGG 40 / GGG 40.3) is possible.

Housing flanges with O-ring-seals, vacuum-tight. Lube oil supply is effected by splash lubrication. Shaft seals by combined oil slinger-piston ring labyrinth seals. The driving shaft is sealed by double radial seal rings with grease barrier. Direction of flow vertical from top to bottom or horizontal clockwise (when looking on the driving shaft.) The direction of flow depends on the size.
Design in special materials (GGG 40 / GGG 40.3), Rotary pistons/housing parts (GS-C25, CrNi-cast steel 1.4313/1.4407) is possible.

Synchronized by precision ground helical timimg gears, two symmetrical
rotors rotate in an opposite direction without making contact. The
medium to be
conveyed is displaced in a positive manner from inlet to discharge
via the
chambers formed between the rotors and the housing. At the very moment
the rotor
tip clears the discharge, the volume of gas displaced is compressed
by the backflow from the discharge end. The final pressure automatically
adjusts itself to the system’s backpressure.
The air or gas stream pulsates as a result of its operating principle.
Patented in Aerzen blowers, internal pulsation interference channels
in conjunction with 3-lobe rotors reduce the pulse in the discharge air
stream
by as much as 90% or 20 dB at the lobe-passing frequency. This significant
attenuation contributes strongly to reducing vibrations in the entire
package and lowering the noise emitted by the downstream piping. In
addition, a discharge silencer is used as a secondary measure.

The noise
level stated by Aerzen are for a complete package, therefore
including the contribution by the inlet or exhaust noise and the noise
emitted by the accessories.

The standard Aerzen positive displacement blowers (“pd blowers”)
are three-lobe blowers (sometimes called "tri-lobe blowers™" )
where the discharge pulsations inherent to Roots® type blowers are all
but cancelled at the source by a patented interference system.
